A new robot from Yaya Lu down in Australia was brought to our attention recently. She has built the first dFlex Segway prototype. While still in prototype, she has a very cool looking self-balancing robot that smacks of the Segway and uses the dFlex to detect it’s position. This is her first build and uses a “bang-bang” control loop; she has plans to improve it with a PID control soon.
