Information on Ordering from Dexter Industries

Payment Methods: Dexter Industries offers payment methods from all major credit cards and Paypal for our products. If your organization meets certain guidelines we can offer check, wire transfer, and purchase order options.

We offer shipping through The US Postal Service. Shipping can be Parcel Post, Priority Mail, or Express Mail.  For other methods, please contact us.
  • Parcel Post: Shipped via USPS First Class. This option is untrackable and once it has been shipped by Dexter Industries, it is out of our control. This level of shipping offers no insurance and no trackability. This is not a guaranteed service. First class mail can take up to two weeks to deliver. This is offered as a low cost option and is used entirely at the customers risk.
  • Priority Mail: For domestic (US) orders this option is trackable. Domestic Priority mail can take up to 3-5 business days for delivery. This package level can be traced within the United States.
  • Express Mail: Trackable and guaranteed within the United States. Delivery within 1-2 days. Depending on your country, this option may be trackable within your country. This option is insured.

Dexter Industries cannot be held responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen packages or packages that become stuck in customs.

Order Processing: To protect your personal and credit card information, our store uses the secure Yahoo! Merchant service. Orders are processed within a few hours and you will see an e-mail from our store confiming your order. Packages usually ship within 2 - 3 business days.  If you need your order in a hurry, please contact us.

International Orders: We ship internationally and APO! Almost all countries are represented on our checkout page. If you do not see your country, please contact us. If you are purchasing from Europe or Canada, please check our partner pages for cheaper and faster shipping.

Customs and Duties: Unless we explicitly state it, customs are the sole duty of the recipient and are not included in the final price. Customers are responsible for handling customs and duties in their home countries. We are happy to try to accomodate your shipping needs but please contact us before placing your order.

Shipping to Europe: Our European distribution is handled exclusively by Generation Robots. Please see their website here.

Privacy and Security: Your privacy is important to us. As part of the order process, your name, shipping and billing address, e-mail address, and phone number are collected by Dexter Industries. Your credit card and Paypal information is handled separately and securely by Yahoo! and Paypal. From time to time we may send alerts and updates to our customers. Customers may choose to opt out of these alerts. Dexter Industries has an ongoing commitment to the security of your personal data. We will NOT share your information with any other company or person.

Refunds: We guarantee that all of our parts will work. If you receive an item or a Mindstorm NXT Sensor from us that does not, please contact us and we will replace your item at no cost. You may return an item for any other reason, up to 30 days from sale, for store credit minus shipping costs. All items must be returned in original packaging with all parts shipped. Please include your contact information and a copy of your sales slip.

When I click on my cart, I am redirected to a website by Yahoo! Is my information safe? You may notice when either checking your cart or moving through the purchasing process that your browser moves from the Dexter Industries website to our Yahoo! Merchant website.
