Timelapse Camera Project
This project uses LEGO ® MINDSTORMS ® NXT to build a timelapse apparatus for a small Canon camera. The pictures were taken over a few hours and the video was put together to show some interesting effects.
Software and Tools: The project uses a very simple program that constantly rotates the gear set, lowering a "finger" on the shutter button. The NXT program is here.
We use a simple spreadsheet found here to calculate how many pictures will fit on the memory card.
Pics and Video: Some photographs are included to give a better perspective of the design. We made two videos with the timelapse equipment in Puebla, Mexico to test it out. The videos are awesome!
