Raspberry Pi 3
The Raspberry Pi 3 is the newest version of a tiny, yet powerful single board computer that can be used in robotics, science experiments, electronic projects, games, and much more! Many of our Dexter Industries robot kits are designed to use the Raspberry Pi, including the GoPiGo, BrickPi, GrovePi, and Arduberry. The Raspberry Pi was developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in the UK.

What can I do with it?
The Raspberry Pi is a capable brain for a robot. Dexter Industries makes a number of products to make it easy to interface the Raspberry Pi with electronic sensors, motors, and LEGO parts including the BrickPi, GoPiGo, GrovePi and Arduberry.
All of our robots are compatible with the Raspberry Pi 3. We recommend using a Dexter Industries wifi dongle with the Raspberry Pi 3 for now. The new Raspberry Pi 3 does have wifi built in, but we are still testing all of our robots with it to ensure compatibility with the wifi feature. So, for now, we recommend and support our Dexter Industries wifi dongle, but hope to eliminate it soon once we have stable software to work with the built in wifi on the Pi 3. Other than the built in wifi, everything works fine with the Raspberry Pi 3 and all Dexter Industries robots!
